Hello there, and welcome to Decoupaged.net, where you’ll either learn about decoupaging for the first time if you’ve never heard of it, or if you are into the wonderful world of decoupage, you will find a fun place to visit and maybe even learn a thing or two.
For those new to the world of decoupage, here’s a basic description of what decoupage is.
Decoupage (sometimes known as découpage) is an art form whereby an object (commonly a small wooden box or piece of furniture) is decorated with multiple types of media (for instance, colored or scrapbooking paper, magazine pages, photographs, napkins, etc). After the cutouts are placed on the object in a layer, they are sealed on with a varnish which disappears after drying and gives a result that looks like painting or inlay work. Decoupage can turn any boring object into something fun!
For those who are looking for a way to make money, decoupaging items and selling them on Etsy, eBay, craft shows, flea markets or off your own website would be a great way to do so!
